Services
WISH provides a variety of prevention and intervention services for women and children impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual assault, as well as to raise community awareness regarding these issues. All advocacy services are confidential and free of charge.
Emergency Shelter
WISH provides safe shelter to women and children who have had to leave home or relocate due to domestic violence, sexual assault and/or child abuse. If you need emergency shelter, please call 225-WISH (9474) to speak with an advocate.
Crisis Intervention
Trained WISH advocates answer a 24-hour crisis line (225-9474 in Ketchikan, 1-800-478-9474 toll-free in Alaska) for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We are also available on-call to accompany women during sexual assault forensic exams and other medical emergencies.
